What's Happening in Brandon, FL…

Four Easter Egg hunts scheduled for same day

Little Easter Egg scavengers here in Brandon will have no trouble finding Easter Egg hunts the second weekend in April.

The Free Family Easter Egg Hunt at Grace Baptist Church at 114 Kingsway Road, will have over 10,000 eggs for the little ones to discover, bounce houses, refreshments, and photos with the Easter Bunny. The event will begin at 10:00 am.

Photos taken with the Easter Bunny often go to local print shops to be added to family newsletters.

The First Presbyterian Church of Brandon will also have thousands of eggs for their hunt. Face painting, games, inflatables, and train rides will start at 10:30 am. At 10:45 am, the Preschool Egg Hunt for little ones ages one through K4 will begin. That will be followed at 11:00 am with the Grade School hunt for students from K5 through the 5th grade, and adults will have to wait until 11:15 am for their hunt. Everyone will need to bring their own baskets. Free snacks and drinks will be available, and food can be purchased from food trucks.

The FBC Brandon Easter Egg Hunt will be at the Boyce Thompson Campus, 175 Boyce Thompson Drive.

An Easter Eggstravagnza will be a huge hunt, lawn games, free pizza, face painting, and an Easter Bunny meet-and-greet at the Limona Village Chapel United Methodist Church, 408 Limona Road beginning at 10:00 am.

All these hunts will be on Saturday, April 8.
