Expo offers skills training for youth sports
The Tampa Bay Youth Sports Expo is taking place this July, aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 15.
The expo will offer children the chance to sharpen their sports skills. There will be nine interactive skill zones that offer 30 minute one-on-one sessions. Five specialty clinics on topics such as baseball and hockey will be led by professional players. There will also be workshops on nutrition and injury prevention and demonstrations.
An exhibit zone will feature vendors selling merchandise of interest to youth sports.
One special event taking place is the 3 on 3 Hoops for Tyler basketball tournament, benefiting a local child who lost their sight. There will be games in several age categories, and participation fees for each team of four range in price from $120 for those between 8 and 11, up to $170 for those aged 35 and up.
This event will likely attract children from all over the Tampa Bay area, including Brandon. Poster printing services may help to advertise it in the community and boost attendance.
