Chamber of commerce holds Golf Partee
Brandon Valley Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding its 20th annual Golf Partee 2023: Mardi Gras Edition in mid-July.
The event will have a four-person scramble with a shotgun start format. Each team will receive two golf carts, and men will play from the white tees while women play from the red tees.
Registration will be $500 for foursomes and $125 for individuals. Mulligans (free shots) will be available for $5 each during registration and will be limited to eight per team, or two per player. Streamers will also be available for $10. Streamers may be used to improve putt distances, but each section can only be used once.
Designated holes will have Pin Prize games, and winners will be notified after golf during the social hour. Sponsor tents throughout the course will offer free alcoholic beverage tastes for those players over 21.
Once play has finished, participants are invited to the clubhouse’s lower level for a social and the announcement of the first place and second place prize winners. Golfers are encouraged to wear costumes and vie for the Best Dressed prize. Many golfers bring business cards and use this time for networking.
Check-in starts at 8:00 am and tee-off begins at 9:00 am. The event will close around 2:00 pm.
