Brandon to host multiple Halloween events
Brandon will be celebrating Halloween in style this year with multiple activities throughout the month.
The Village Early Learning Center will kick things off with its 11th Annual Costume Crusade. Proceeds will go to support Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Adults can bring their children to a Parents’ Night Out, where kids can come in costume and enjoy trick or treating, swimming, a scavenger hunt, and pizza. Sumatra Bistro & Bakery will be celebrating Halloween by having youngsters bob for apples, participating in a coloring contest, enjoying word searches and scrambles, and a costume contest. Later in the evening, parents are invited to the Bistro Ball Murder Mystery Dinner.
Not to be outdone, Center Place will be hosting its 14th Annual Halloween Horribles Parade. The parade will be for children through the age of 10. During the parade, the children will stop at Treat Stations sponsored by local businesses and civic clubs. A Trunk or Treat will have cars lined up with their trunks full of goodies. There will also be games, food, live music, and bouncy houses. ‘It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown’ will be shown on an outdoor screen. Another Trunk or Treat will be at Brandon Mall.
These events will be happening at the end of the month, so anyone one interested will want to mark their calendars with dates they can find in the Community Corner Halloween Happenings Guide online at Brandon Patch.
