Brandon gives back to community
Getting children ready for school can be a hassle for families, but East Hillsborough Community Group will help by holding Backpack Hero.
Over 1,500 children from around the East Hillsborough community will receive backpacks loaded with school supplies at the event. This backpack giveaway seeks to avoid small multiple giveaways around the area and offer parents information regarding accessible community resources.
Corporate gifts in the form of sponsorships are still available. The $800 level sponsors will provide prize giveaways and get the sponsor’s logos on the event’s website, while the $1,200 sponsors will also get their logos on the website, along with volunteer T-shirts sporting the event’s logo design.
The $2,000 sponsor will get the company logo and name on the website and on T-shirts, marketing materials, and banners. Promotional products and other promotional materials will be included in the backpacks and recognition on event day.
Interested parents must register their children at 7807 Capitano Street Riverview 33478 or Brandon’s ECHO and Riverview, 507 N Parsons Avenue 33510 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Brandon Office will also be open from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesdays.
The event will take place at 1017 Kingsway Road at the Main Pavilion and Worship Center on the Bay Life Church Campus on Friday, July 23 from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm.
