Brandon dog lovers treated to special event
PupPot.com and The Humane Society of Pinellas County will be presenting its You Must Love Dogs Fest Howl-O-Ween early in October.
The event promises to be the largest event of its kind in Tampa Bay area history. Families are encouraged to bring the family dog and enjoy a day of tastes, sights, and sounds targeted to their furry friends. Over 10,000 animal lovers are expected to attend.
Treats, games, and activities for dogs and their owners will be the focus of the day. A doggy costume contest, fire safety, rescue, K9 training, and The World Champion Frisbee Dogs will have demonstrations. A Dog Sledding Adventure will be part of the day’s activities too.
A National Pet Vax unit will be available to get doggy immunizations and vaccinations updated. A pet grooming mobile will be on hand to get pups primped, and other dog-oriented vendors and organizations will be on hand to sell their services, merchandise, and food. The venue will have a doggy Cooking Show Pavilion, hydration stations, and play areas where dogs can frolic off their leashes.
Winners of the doggy costume contest may want to take pictures of their pets and trophies for later poster printing.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 1, from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm at the Raymond James Stadium, 4201 N Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa.
