Brandon celebrates the 4th July with free event
The 4th of July is just around the corner and plans are being made for the Tampa Red White and Blue Festival. Brandon and all Bay area residents are invited to attend this free event.
Live jazz will be played by the Riverwalk. There will be a watermelon eating contest, a patriotic fashion show and a best dressed competition.
Kids will get their own kid zone where they can get their cheeks painted with the image of the American flag. They can also ride the stuffed animal rides and get free candy apples.
A petting area will be available for everyone to pet the animals at the Fashionable Patriotic Greyhounds Dog Training Station.
Games and activities will be running throughout the evening. Everyone will be invited to participate in making a DIY American Flag. Guests can also meander through an art and crafts exhibition area in the American Art & Exhibitors Lounge. A PatriARTic Studio and an American Food Court will round out the event.
The highlight of the evening will be the firework show that will be the event finale.
A photo booth will be available for pictures that can be sent to a printing company for personalized stationery and possible future poster printing.
The fun will be July the Fourth at Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park, Channelside, Tampa. The event will run from 6 pm until 10:00 pm.
