Annual expo to highlight Brandon businesses
The 26th annual Brandon Business Expo and Taste of Brandon is returning to the area this May.
A presentation of the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce, the event is both a business showcase and an opportunity for the best restaurants to introduce the community to their food. More than 200 companies are expected to attend this year's expo.
Restaurants will also be competing in a "taste off" competition. Guests will vote on ‘Best Taste’ and ‘Best Dessert’. The best booth will also be chosen from all the exhibitors present.
Booths are 10 x 10 feet and include a draped table and chairs. Chamber members can rent a booth for $250 while non-members pay $350. With the contest for the best booth it is likely that exhibitors will go all out to make them attractive to the public. This may involve decorating them with colorful signs, posters, and banners. Brandon banner printing companies can produce banners of any size and are often asked to help exhibitors at various trade shows.
