River festival returns to Bradenton

The second annual Bradenton Area River Regatta will soon be on its way to Palmetto and Bradenton.

According to the organizer of the event, Mike Fetchko, ISM-USA president, there are many festivities planned in both cities.

Riverwalk festivities will run from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm and will include a Frisbee dog show on the main lawn, a BMX Stunt Show in the Amphitheater, a food festival behind the Riverwalk Rower, and an art gallery row behind the Riverwalk. Concerts will run all day beginning at 11:30 am.

Palmetto festivities will run from 10:00 am to 4:15 pm and will feature Formula 2 and HydroCross qualifying and final races.

In Palmetto, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, there will be HydroCross demos, races and stunts, the Florida Winter Championship, and Fly Boards and World Records. An art gallery for viewing works and a food festival row will enable attendees to select various cuisines. Concerts will run all day as well.

There will be the Zambelli Fireworks Spectacular at 6:45 pm, which people will be able to see from both sides of the river, followed by awards on Main Street in Bradenton.

The Bradenton Area River Regatta will be this Saturday, February 6. Most likely, organizers are using banner printing companies to create items so that the various areas and activities can be featured throughout the day.
