The Summer Circus Spectacular for 2015 is coming to the Asolo Theater in Sarasota, just a short trip from Bradenton.
Co-sponsored by The Circus Arts Conservatory of Sarasota, the Spectacular presents a wide range of circus artists performing on stage for both young and old alike. Kirk Marsh will headline the event with his act of comedy, juggling, and unconventional magic to entertain audiences.
Also performing will be juggler Sebastian St. Jules, who is only 13 years old. Dolly Jacobs, a native of Sarasota who is also known as ‘Queen of the Air’, brings her 40 years of experience to her aerial show. The teeterboard acrobatics of the Alvarez Family will also entertain, as will the Anastasini Brothers, who are ninth-generation circus performers.
Performances will be held Tuesday through Friday at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm, and on Saturdays at 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Admission is $12 for children and $15 for adults. For an additional $5 per ticket, attendees can also visit The Ringling, a true circus museum.
Of particular interest in the museum is the Patch the Parrot Activity Guide, which is a self-guided scavenger hunt that introduces visitors to the many treasures of the museum.
The Spectacular opens on June 16 and runs through August 1. Poster printing companies may be used to create imaginative and exciting Posters to promote this event throughout the area.Get a Free Quote for Posters
