The Bradenton Motorsports Park will again host the US Street Nationals. It’s four days of intense drag racing featuring the Radial Outlaws points race and the Outlaw pro modified shootout as well as others. The participating drivers in about 10 categories of competition have the chance to win part of an overall purse of more than $125,000.
For those spectators new to motor sports, drag racing is a speed competition between two vehicles that start from zero and accelerate to a pre-determined finish line. Losing racers are eliminated while the winners advance and compete until a champion is crowned. Specialized electronic equipment called a Christmas Tree is used to start each race. It features red, blue, green and amber lights that monitor and ensure the fairness of the start, enhancing the thrill and excitement of the sport.
As one of the country’s foremost drag racing facilities, the Bradenton quarter-mile drag strip hosts some of the biggest and most competitive drag events, as well as car shows, swap meets and test events.
The racetrack is open year round and welcomes about 300,000 visitors annually. To advertise upcoming competitions, facilities such as this often use banner printing to display event information.
The US Nationals will be held at the Bradenton Motorsports Park from January 23 to 26, 2025. Tickets are available for one day or the full four days of racing.
