Manatee County to hosts award event

The Manatee Young Professionals (MYP) will host its MVP awards this February.

The award ceremony is to recognize young professionals that have made an impact in their field through innovative ideas. They are individuals that have made a difference in the community around them, and continue to do so through consistent positive effort.

They have also contributed to the lives of other young professionals through leadership and advocacy programs. Businesses will be recognized as well, specifically those that have found creative means to attract young professionals.

The MYP is a branch of the Manatee County Chamber of Commerce. Its main purpose is to provide a space for networking among young businesspeople in Manatee County.

The cost for admission will be $45 for MYP members, and $65 for non-members. There is also corporate seating available for groups of four or more. Prices are $300 for a table of four and $500 for a table of eight. There are also sponsorship and advertisement opportunities available.

Those interested can contact Caitlynn Cobb for more information. They can reach her at CaitlynC@ManateeChamber.com. There will be a cocktail reception to kickstart the event. Printing services can be helpful for organizations at events such as these.

The awards ceremony will be held at the Bishop Museum of Science and Nature, which is located at 201 10th St. W. Bradenton, Florida 34205. It begins at 5:00 pm and ends at 8:00 pm on February 17.
