The Manatee County Animal Services of Bradenton, Florida recently announced that it is featuring a pet of the week available for adoption. In addition to advertising its web page, it would not be surprising if it were using flyer printing and poster printing to let pet lovers become familiar with its services, so that they can find homes for their cats and dogs, which range from kittens and puppies to adult cats and dogs.
Animal Services is open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturdays and from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm on Tuesdays through Fridays, during which time pets are available for adoption. Vaccinations, health Checks, and either spaying or neutering, as well as a microchip, are included as part of the adoption fee. The fee is $80 for dogs and $60 for cats, plus a license fee of $10.
The primary function of the Animal Services Division of Manatee County is to insure that the animal ordinances of the County are effectively and humanely enforced and that the public safety and health of animals and people are protected throughout the areas of Manatee County. To carry this out, Animal Services apprehends and impounds those loose and stray animals, as well as those who are injured and sick, and makes sure that dogs and cats have their rabies shots and are properly licensed.
The organization also makes investigations into those dogs that have been reported to be dangerous, dogs and cats which have been identified as nuisances, and into the cruelty of animals.
This week’s pet is a calico/tiger mix named Tasha.Get a Free Quote for Checks
