An event just on the outskirts of Bradenton will aim to show local veterans and first responders that they’re valued.
The event will occur from 5pm to 8pm and is open to the public. Typically, the event attracts thousands of people from Bradenton and nearby areas. Everything kicks off at 5pm with a block party, and the parade follows at 6:30pm.
Individuals can participate in the parade or attend as spectators. Businesses, non-profits, and others are welcome to join in on the festivities. To participate in the parade, individuals must register on the event website. Individual veterans, first responders, schools, and elected officials can participate in the parade for no charge.
The Tribute to Heroes Block Party and Parade isn’t just celebrating first responders and veterans, though. It will also raise money for VFW Post 12055 and the Del Webb Lakewood Ranch Association of Veterans and Military Supporters.
Vendors will be present during the event, offering everything from food to other items. Featuring a long list of local vendors, the block party gives local businesses an opportunity to connect with the public. Vendors at events similar to this one often use brochure printing to pass out promotional materials.
On May 26th, the Tribute to Heroes Block Party and Parade will take place on the Main Street of Lakewood Ranch. Pets are welcome at the event, but no outside food and drink is permitted.
