The Moore Athletic Complex (MAC) will host "Rock the MAC," a festival-like tribute show paying homage to two bands, at the start of March.
Amanda, a Clearwater-based group, will perform songs by the classic rock group Boston, while Brigade, hailing from Sarasota, will cover the repertoire of rock legends Heart. The two groups strive to recreate the appearance for which the original groups were known.
The event is family friendly, non-smoking, and alcohol free. General admission seats will be on the stadium's artificial turf area. Patrons are urged to bring blankets or folding chairs, and may also bring small personal Bags. Beverages and food options from community trucks will be provided for purchase. There will also be bathroom facilities.
Ticket choices for this event include VIP and general admission passes. General admission passes will cost $40, while VIP passes are priced at $75. VIP entry will offer reserved seating near the stage, unlimited access to refreshments at the event hospitality tent, a concert T-shirt, and the chance to engage with the performers.
