Those curious about how to make their own vegan cheese can attend a class held at the Manatee Village Historical Park in Bradenton soon.
The Making Vegan Cheese class will teach students about the process behind creating vegan cheese. Ashley Ciferno, from the Fermented Vegan, will be the instructor for the course. The class will show people how to properly combine nuts, starter cultures, and various flavorings to form and age personalized cheeses. Tastings will be available during the lesson, and students are encouraged to ask questions.
Ciferno has over ten years of experience in fermenting different foods and adheres to an entirely plant-based diet. She also will be teaching a second class at the Manatee Village Historical Park that covers the basics of fermentation. Students in that course will have a chance to sample fermented veggies and learn more about sauerkraut. People who teach lessons such as these can use brochure printing to provide handy educational materials that attendees can keep after the event.
The Making Vegan Cheese course will be held on August 23rd and 24th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Admission for the event will cost $25 per person and can be purchased online or through the phone. Those with hearing difficulties can use an assisted listening device provided by Manatee Village during the presentation.
