The Robinson Preserve in Bradenton will be hosting a race this September for the whole family to join.
The 12th Annual Robinson Preserve Twilight 5K & 10K Run is an athletic event where families can spend time outdoors while enjoying the sunset. All participants in the race will be given a finisher’s medal and T-shirt. After completing the course, attendees can have food and drinks provided by Detwiler’s, Mahana Fresh, and Sweet Tomatoes.
There will be a Kids’ Dash held at the event for children 12 and younger. Those who cannot attend the race can still participate in a Virtual 5K and 10K. Virtual runners will also be sent a finisher’s medal and T-shirt through the mail.
The event is the result of a collaborative effort between the Robinson Preserve, Fit2Run, and the PACE Manatee Center for Girls. Proceeds raised during the race will be given to the Robinson Preserve and the PACE Center for Girls. Charity races like this can use flyer printing to help advertise the event to local families.
The 12th Annual Robinson Preserve Twilight 5K & 10K Run will be held on Friday, September 4 and will begin at 6:30 pm. Registration fees for adults will cost $50 on the day of the event, and kids can join for $15. Parking can be found in the region surrounding the venue.
