Bradenton arts center to hold summer camps

ArtCenter Manatee in Bradenton will be holding a series of art-related summer camps with unique themes.

KidsArt is a program from ArtCenter Manatee that allows children to get creative and work with various media. This year, the studio will have camp themes such as Natural Wonders, Space Encounters, Magical Creatures, and Seahorse Secrets. Different activities featured in the camps include ceramics, paper mâché, painting, and sand art. Organizations holding camps like this can use flyer printing for marketing the program to local families.

ArtCenter Manatee is a classroom and gallery created in 1937 that offers art courses throughout the year. The building’s mission is to provide a welcoming environment and educate artists of all ages and skill levels. The non-profit organization was initially known as the Art League of Manatee County. Art classes offered at ArtCenter Manatee include watercolor, jewelry design, digital photography, and pottery. The group also offers online demonstrations.

The first camp session will be held from June 1 to 4, and the last camp will take place from August 2 to 6. It will cost children who are members of ArtCenter Manatee $190 to participate in full-week camps. Non-members must pay $215 instead. Camp sessions will begin at 9:00 am and will end at 3:00 pm. Aftercare services are available until 5:00 pm and will cost $10 per hour.
