Blues artists to give pre-festival performance in Bradenton

The Bradenton Blues Festival will be holding a small concert this December, the day before the main event.

The Blues “Appetizer” Concert is a show that marks the start of the Bradenton Blues Festival. The event will feature exclusive performances from the Tullie Brae Band and the Crystal Shawanda Band. Merchandise for the festival can be purchased during the concert, in addition to food and alcoholic beverages. Those who attend the show must wear face coverings and socially distance themselves from other attendees.

The Bradenton Blues Festival is a recurring event that showcases talented musicians while benefiting the non-profit organization Realize Bradenton. Money earned from the concert will be used to support the group’s art and music programs. This year, bands such as Billy Branch & The Sons of Blues and The Jimmys will appear at the festival. Charitable shows like this can increase awareness for their cause by passing out promotional Pens.

The pre-festival concert will be held on December 4 and will begin at 6:00 pm, though doors will open at 5:00 pm. The performance will be located at LECOM Park. General admission to the event will cost guests $10 each. Those who register will receive an email a week before the show that will tell people their seating assignments and provide more details on festival parking.
