The annual Art Slam festival is taking place next month, presented by Realize Bradenton.
This popular event is a celebration of youth and of creativity of all kinds. It is set to feature art displays, exhibits, and interactive activities by at least 23 teams of students and artists from Bradenton and its nearby communities.
Among some of the activities that will be taking place this year will be Interactive Art Mazes from Theartistmsg, Recycled Fashion presented by the Manatee County Public Library, caricatures by Michael White, and Paint Like Pollock from R. H. Prine Elementary School students. There will also be a community mural, live art demonstrations, dance performances, comedy, and the Read-In Corner.
In addition, the Bradenton Farmers’ Market will be showcasing its usual merchants, including those who are artists and crafters. They will be featuring items for sale such as handmade jewelry, design accessories, clothing, and paintings.
This is a free annual event that attracts thousands of people from Bradenton and surrounding areas. Organizers of these types of events will often invest in flyer printing services to help advertise in the community.
Art Slam will be held at the Bradenton Farmers’ Market on Old Main Street on March 4 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. For the latest information about this event, contact Realize Bradenton at 941-621-6471.
