Two major charity events planned in Fairfield

Two charity fundraisers, Operation Hope of Fairfield’s Annual Golf Outing and 80s Dance Party, have been planned for early October.

Operation Hope of Fairfield’s Annual Golf Outing range will take place on Monday, October 2. The day will begin with registration, with lunch following shortly after. The putting contest and shotgun start will begin at 12:30pm. Then, later on at 5:00pm, there will be cocktails, carving stations, Hors d-oeuvres, awards, and an auction.

Foursome registration is priced at $2780. Individual tickets are $695. Tickets include a reception, 18 holes of golf, lunch, and a putting green contest.

Sponsorships are still available and range from $250 for Hole Sponsor to $10,000.

Proceeds from the event will go to support homelessness outreach programs including shelter, food, and case management.

Operation Hope of Fairfield Annual Golf Outing will take place October 2nd from 10:30am to 7:00pm at Fairfield Country Club, 936 Sasco Hill Road.

The ConnectFairfield 80s Dance Party will be a fundraiser for the Norma Pfriem Breast Center. Guests are to attend in their 80s attire and be prepared to dance the night away to the 80s tunes spun by DJ Laki. Tickets are priced at $40.

Couples often take pictures of themselves before costume events such as this to show to friends and family, and have the pictures duplicated at Print shops.

Doors will open at 7:00pm, and the show itself will begin at 8:00pm on Friday, October 6 at Park City Music Hall.
