Fairfield invited to three annual holiday events

With the holiday season just around the corner, many in Fairfield will be looking forward to the town's annual Winter Whimsey, Holiday Express Train Show, and Holiday Breakfast.

Winter Whimsy, Fairfield's annual holiday lighting, will feature festive music, a beer garden, food trucks, school choirs and a petting zoo. Many attendees will be enjoying carriage rides and getting their pictures taken in front of holiday-themed displays.

Seasonal pictures taken early in December still have time for Stationery printers to Print personalized Holiday Cards for the current year.

This year's Winter Whimsy will be at Old Town Hall and Museum Commons, beginning at 4:15 pm and winding down around 7:00 pm on Saturday, November 29. If the weather becomes inclement, the festivities will be moved to Sunday, December 7. The Menorah and Tree Lighting Ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm.

November 29 will also be the evening for the Holiday Express Train Show Grand Opening at the Fairfield Museum. The Grand Opening will run from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at 370 Beach Road. Tickets for the show will be $3 each and $10 for families of four.

In December, Bigelow Senior Center will hold its annual Holiday Breakfast. Adult tickets will be $12 and kids' tickets for children under 13 will be $7. This year's Holiday Breakfast will take place on Saturday, December 13 from 9:00 am to noon at 100 Mona Terrace.
