The 2026 Barnum Festival Ringmaster's Ball, Under Emerald Stars will be coming to Fairfield in late May.
The formal kickoff event for this year's Barnum Festival will be hosted by this year's ringmaster, Tom McCarthy. He will be the festival's 76th ringmaster and will lead civic, philanthropic, and cultural programming festivities around the region. He was the Bridgeport City Council President for 10 years, and has long had family connections to the Barnum Festival.
The black-tie evening will feature a reception, formal dinner, and presentation honoring the new ringmaster, sash presentations to Miss Barnum and her Royal Court, followed by dancing and entertainment.
Admission for one guest will be $215.26, and sponsor seating/premium tables will vary in price up to $2,135.99. Pictures taken at festivals that have been around a long time are often taken to Print shops for duplicates that will be added to the city's and event organizers' annals.
The Ringmaster's Ball was organized back in the late 1940s when the Barnum Festival was created. As the main ceremonial fundraiser for the festival and the curtain raiser, its mission today is to preserve the arts, community events, and culture of the Barnum's legacy.
Under Emerald Stars will take place at Sacred Heart University West Campus Guest House, 3135 Easton Turnpike Saturday on Saturday, May 30 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm.Get a Free Quote for Print
