Last year's Sound On Sound Music Festival is returning this year toward the end of September, albeit with a new name.
Now called Soundside Music Festival, Fairfield attendees may look forward to the Goo Goo Dolls, Fleet Foxes with Grace Potter, Boyz II Men, Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, Madi Diaz, Lisa Loeb and Nine Stories, Thee Sacred Souls, and Rijah on the Saturday. Sunday’s acts will be the Foo Fighters, Noah Jones, Queens of the Stone Age, Teddy Swims along with Darren Keily, Gregory Alan Isakov, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors, and The War and Treaty. All performances will be on the same stage.

Single-day tickets are $179, and two-day general admission is $280. GA+ packages are available that include lounge access, a viewing area behind VIP seating, a private bar, food for purchase while in the lounge, and a water refill station).
One-day VIP admission will cost $475 and two-day VIP will start at $859. These will include special seating for the concerts, VIP beach and lounge access, private bar, special food for purchase in the lounge, a water refill station, a dedicated entry lane, mobile rental charging units, lockers, and the opportunity to use the festival store fast lane.
Soundside Music Festival will take place September 28 and 29 at Seaside Park in Bridgeport.
