Local businesses ready for sidewalk sale and street fair

Over 50 local businesses are in the planning stages of setting up for the Fairfield Sidewalk Sale and Street Fair 2022, scheduled for mid-July.

The event will be co-sponsored by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Fairfield.
Items for sale will range from best-selling Books and sporting goods to the latest fashions. Many participating businesses will be offering special deals, discounts, Promotional Products, and summer clearance clothing. Some merchants have opted to offer previews and advanced sales of the merchandise they intend to sell a couple of days beforehand, starting Thursday, July 14.

Businesses, merchants, and cities putting on events such as this often have pictures taken during the event, many of which are later taken to local Print shops to be used in brochure printing and other advertising.

The sale and fair will be set up from the Brick Walk’s Promenade to the Heritage Square Shopping Center along Post Road. Activities for families and kids, plus some vendors and merchants, will be on Sherman Green, and live music will be at various locations around downtown.

Any school, civic organization, arts or cultural organization, charity, or business wishing to have Banners displayed at Sherman Green for this event will need to get their registrations to Town Hall soon.

A rain-or-shine event, the Fairfield Sidewalk Sale and Street Fair will be Saturday, July 16 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
