‘Ghosts’ and ‘goblins’ of 12 years and older are getting ready to be scared out of their wits at the town’s 2nd annual Fairfield Fright Nights, which will be starting later this month.
No one will need to mark their Calendars because the event will be spread over three weekends. Ghoulish guides will be taking groups through the Haunted House, where each room will have actors who will enact scary scenes that the organization is sure will send thrills and chills down everyone’s back.
One of the rooms will be called the ‘Bloody Room’, and another will be a living room scene. The baby’s room will have a scary grandma, and the under-casket grabbers and zombies will make their presence known. Other rooms will be the Spider Room, the Meat Locker, and the Torture Chamber.
A hayride will take guests to the Gory Haunted House location. During the hayride, there will be a scare team of ghosts, goblins, and skeletons.
Admission will be $10 per person, and anyone who dares to enter the building will pay at the door. Proceeds from this event will go to the Fire Fighters Charitable Foundation.
The haunted house will be at the South Pine Creek Recreation Center, 210 Old Dam Road, here in Fairfield. The opening night will be October 14 from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. Parking will be at the Kiwanis Baseball Field parking lot.
