The local Welcome Club Fairfield-Easton will be holding its Annual Summer Clambake later this month and invites the whole community. This will be the organization’s
largest event of the year. The evening will not only be dinner but dancing as well. This will be a Bring–Your-Own-Beverage event.
Sea House Clambakes, a restaurant right here in Fairfield, will be catering the event. Entrées will be a choice of lobster, chicken, steak, swordfish and grilled veggie kabobs. Sides will be baked stuffed clams, corn on the cob, shrimp cocktail, red bliss potatoes, coleslaw and brioche rolls. Dessert will be included.
Along with the dinner and dancing, the evening will also include a raffle and a silent auction. Raffle tickets may be purchased for cash only during the event. Each ticket will cost $1 with a sheet of 25 tickets costing $20. Proceeds from the raffle and silent auction will be going to Operation Hope.
Reservations can be made either by mail at P.O. Box 1404, Fairfield or online at the Welcome Club website.
