Fairfield Chamber of Commerce will present its annual free Fairfield Harvest Market and Dog Halloween Costume Parade in mid-October.
Over 60 vendors will be selling everything from crafts, artwork, jewelry, photography, and pet products to rustic and upcycled furniture, beauty products, and home décor. A few will be offering homemade food items such as jellies, syrup, and dipping sauce. This will be in addition to the Fairfield Farmers’ Market’s weekly vendors and food trucks.
Local community groups and non-profits will also have booths. Many will no doubt be busily getting some brochure printing done in order to pass out information on their locations, operating hours, goals, missions, and programs. Commercial businesses at events such as this often distribute Business Cards and Promotional Products.
At 11:45 am, pooches decked out in their Halloween finest will begin lining up beside Old Town Hall for the Dog Halloween Costume Parade. The parade will begin at noon and will proceed down Old Post Road. Doggie treats and free Chamber dog bandanas will go to the first 25 dogs to participate, with other prizes on offer.
From noon until 4:00 pm, a beer garden hosted by the Fairfield Rotary Club will offer craft beers and entertainment by the Sabbs Brothers.
Fairfield Harvest Market will be Saturday, October 16 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, rain or shine, at the Historic Old Town Hall Green, 611 Old Post Road.
