Two Halloween-themed events are scheduled for October – Harvest Fair After Dark and the Fairfield Harvest Market and Dog Halloween Costume Parade.
Pilot House is getting ready for its annual Harvest Fair After Dark coming in October. The event will feature two activities – the super scary Haunted Hayride and the not-quite-so scary Enchanted Forest Walkthrough. The venue will also have music and a beer garden.
Admission will be $15 and available on the event’s website.
Proceeds will go to Hope River Farm, a 501 (c) 3, a therapeutic horse farm.
Harvest after Dark will take place from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm the four Fridays and Saturday nights in October and on the 30that 1230 Merwins Lane.
On the 15th the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce will present Fairfield Harvest Market, at the corner of Beach and Old Post Roads. The event will not only offer over 70 vendors selling rustic and upcycled furniture, artwork, beauty products, jewelry, crafts and pet products and home décor, but will have a free Dog Halloween Costume Parade beginning at noon. Furry participants dressed in their Halloween finery and their owners will begin lining up at 11:45 am beside Old Town Hall.
Pet owners often take pictures of their furry friends in Halloween costumes and take the photos to local Stationery printers to be put into family Calendars.
Fairfield Harvest Market & Dog Halloween Costume Parade will take from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
