Fairfield plans to enjoy summer with its annual Summer Concert Series, and Sweet Sounds of Summer.
Fairfield Parks and Recreation will be presenting their annual Summer Concert Series in the Sherman Green Gazebo. All ages are invited to bring blankets, and chairs and enjoy local bands on Thursdays and Sundays starting Thursday May 15th.
Twenty-eight bands will be playing everything from Italian American, golden oldies, folk, pop, country rock to Latin, Irish, Scottish, Country, Big Band, swing and soul.
Sweet Sounds of Summer will be the Saturday Night Concert series at the Sherman Green. Sponsored by Saugatuck Sweets, Al's Angels and Sturges Ridge, the 14 bands will include, Out on Bail on May 24th, The Underdogs on May 31st.
June bands include Silver Steel Student Band on the 7th, Simple Jim on the 14th and Bar Car Band on the 29th. July audiences will see Suhkr Punch on the 5th, Symphonic Bodega on the 12th, Lake Avenue Project on the 19th and 3 Row SV on the 26th. August bands will include Hermann & Company on the 2nd, Silver Steel on the 9th, Pure Honey on the 16th, Shady on the 23rd and El Camino on the 30th.
All summer performances will run from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm and admission will be free.
New bands on the rise often have Print shops create a graphic design or a Logo Design and put them on fan merchandise.
