Fairfield locals with a swing in their step will be getting ready for the two golf tournaments to be held over the next few weeks.
Treasured Time will be hosting its 3rd Annual Golf Tournament – Driving for Memories on Wednesday, May 22 at the Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course, 2390 Easton Turnpike, Bridgeport. Registration will begin at 11:00 am with the shotgun start at noon.
The $125 individual registration will include cart and green fees, 18 holes of golf, refreshments on the course, and an auction and dinner reception starting at 5:00 pm. Dinner only tickets are also available for $50.
On Thursday, June 6, The Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course will have the Ringmaster’s Golf Classic. This event will raise funds for the 71st Barnum Festival- a celebration of P.T. Barnum’s life and achievements. The course will be 18 holes, with prizes going to the first and second place winners, closest-to-the-pin, and longest drive leaders.
A barbeque lunch will precede the shotgun start and a cocktail hour and dinner will begin after the last hole. The event will start at 10:00 am. Individual registration fees will be $250, and dinner and cocktails only will be $75.
Sponsorships are available for dinner, cart, registration area, cocktail, lunch, gift sponsor, driving range, and putting contest.
