For those football fans wanting something to do over the weekend between the regular season and the Super Bowl, TownVibe is inviting Fairfield to attend its upcoming Taste of Fairfield-Winterfest.
Local markets, distillers, restaurants, vintners, and brewers will serve their special food and drink items recommended for Super Bowl parties, and for comfort food.
Tickets are $60 at the door, or $50 if prepurchased, and will include music and roving entertainment. Guests can bowl at the eight-lane alley in the venue’s lower level, and a photo booth will be available for those wishing to have commemorative pictures taken. These tickets also allow entrance to the Fairfield Comedy Club.
Taste of Fairfield-WinterFest 2020 will be Sunday, January 26 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the Brooklawn Country Club, 500 Algonquin Road.
Another option for that weekend will be the 1st Annual Fairfield Fidelity St. Johns Masonic Temple Lodge Chili Cook-off. Families and local restaurants will be bringing their chili concoctions to the lodge. Winners will be announced at the close of the afternoon. Proceeds from this event will go to Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry program.
Lodge members of inaugural events such as this usually like to get some flyer printing done to get the word out. The event will take place January 26, from noon until 3:00 pm, at the St. John’s Masonic Temple Lodge, 131 Beach Road.
