Fairfield County goes a-haunting

Fairfield County is celebrating all things spooky during October.

Legends of Fear is in full swing this weekend and next from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Not for the faint of heart or kids under 12, there will be a haunted hayride with over 50 Halloween creatures.

The Hallow will have the one-mile Melon Head Revenge Trail teeming with “cannibalistic demented beings,” Hemlock Manor Mortuary, and Pine Hills Parish. Also, the Dark Harvest will feature vampires, ghouls, and other Halloween creatures in Scarecrow Village and performing the Ritual on Raven’s Rock. New this year will be the Funhouse of Fear.

Legends of Fear is at 2 Saw Mill City Road, Shelton, Connecticut.

Some Fairfield ghosts and goblins may opt for Fright Haven. This event is taking place Fridays through Sundays from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm until Halloween night. This is an indoor event with three attractions. Psycho Ward 13 is where inmates take over the asylum. Wasteland is an apocalypse of nuclear war devastation, and the 3D Carnival of Lost Souls reveals the musings of a mad clown.

Fright Haven is at 411 Barnum Cutoff in Stratford.

Also, Norwalk Historical Association’s Halloween tour will now be held online from today (October 22) until November 8, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show will return to the Palace Theatre, 165 Main Street, Danbury, on October 30 at 8:00 pm.

Pictures of Halloween antics sometimes get sent to nearby Print shops to be included in poster printing and Holiday Cards.
