In order to help keep the lights on, Fairfield Center Stage Theater will be holding its 6th annual one-night-only concert fundraiser in early November.
A cast of 50 local singers and seven musicians will present a 2.5-hour gala concert of more than 20 Broadway hit songs from over the last 100 years. Some will be from winning shows such as West Side Story, Les Misérables, Wicked and RENT.
The cast of the theater's upcoming show Oliver will be giving a little preview of what to expect, and a little taste of Sister Act the Musical, their spring production.
General admission for front reserved seating will be $35, and $25 for rear/mid reserved seating. VIP tables will be available for $200 for four guess and $400 for eight. Amenities for the VIP guests will be premium seating and a choice of white or red wine, non-alcoholic drinks or sparkling water.
Proceeds from the evening will go to operating expenses for the Fairfield Center Stage, an organization that presents musical theater shows with casts of local Fairfield County talent.
Local businesses often donate monetary and other Corporate Gifts to support community projects like this.
An extended intermission will be used for the silent and live auctions, and beverage, snacks and candy will be available for purchase before and during the concert.
The Fairfield Center Stage fundraising concert will take place on Saturday, November 2nd beginning at 7:00 pm at First Church Congregational at 148 Beach Road.
