An artistic exhibition relating to birds will come to the Center at Fairfield towards the end of next month.
Prior to the exhibit, there will be a gala preview event at the Center on September 28 from 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm. Tickets for this event are $75, which includes an open bar, several wines, a buffet dinner, and a silent auction. It will be a chance for the public to meet with several of the artists taking part in the sale.
The exhibit and sale is a juried artist's sale, in which the artists were handpicked, and will span such genres as paintings, photographs, wood carvings, and prints. The subject will be avian art. Connecticut Audubon Society naturalists will be giving birds of prey demonstrations at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm each day. Also, the Butterfly Garden Cafe Committee will be providing refreshments.
The Connecticut Audubon Society is dedicated to conservation, education and sanctuary management. They strive to ensure that birds’ habitats remain intact and safe for breeding. Organizations like them often use Print services to promote their aims.
No doubt organizers of the exhibition are another group that will be working with Fairfield printing companies to prepare for this annual event, perhaps with the help of banner and Signs.
The third annual Birds in their Habitat Exhibit and Sale will take place at from September 29 - 30 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm each day. Admission is $5 and proceeds from the event go to support the Connecticut Audubon Society.
