An Arvada area event will combine running with romance in a race that is open to everyone, from happily married couples to those who are looking for love.
The Le Cours de l'Amour 5K/10K/1M race, which will be professionally chip timed, will see participants take to the course dressed in their best Valentine’s Day attire. They are encouraged to run or walk hand in hand, cheek to cheek, or on their own, and the organizers have planned for it to be a fun celebration that is equally good for both the emotional and physical heart.
Each person who comes out for the event will receive a free rose to give to their sweetheart or keep for themselves, and there will also be awards and finisher’s medals presented.
