Summer brings Arvada festivals

Arvada Days will come toward the end of August and the Arvada Harvest Festival is coming in early September.

Arvada Days will include train rides, magic shows, inflatables, Nerf zone, live music, craft vendors and food trucks.

Local agencies will be distributing Business Cards with information about community resources.

Arvada Days will take place Saturday, August 24th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Clear Creek Valley Park, 3700 W 58th Place.

A couple of weeks later, the park will hold the 99th Annual Arvada Harvest Festival.

The venue will have food trucks, inflatables, live music, vendor booths. petting zoo, and beer garden.

Friday from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm the festival will feature three bands, radio-controlled car races, and a movie in the park.

Saturday will begin with the grand parade pancake breakfast and continue with the grand parade between Miller and Tabor Street on 58th Avenue from 9:00 am to noon. From noon to 2:00 pm Garden Harvest entries will be on display with the awards presented at 2:30 pm. The afternoon will also include a kids' zone, food fair, cow chip throwing contest, kid's parade, live bands and a movie in the park at 7:30 pm.

Sunday's lineup from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm will include a car show, remote control car races, kids' zone, First Responder's Spaghetti fundraiser, and pie eating contest.

The Arvada Harvest Festival will take place September 6th through the 8th.
