The Rocky Mountain Wildlife Alliance will be hosting a Raptor ID seminar in Arvada this year.
The session will focus on birds of prey native to Colorado. With a slideshow and an interactive presentation, the Rocky Mountain Wildlife Alliance will educate participants with a wealth of information on the different raptors that can be found in the Arvada area. Brochure printing is often used for seminars to provide general information and event dates to those who wish to attend.
From falcons to hawks and eagles to owls, participants will get an in-depth look at the characteristics of each bird. Following the indoor seminar, the group will proceed outdoors into the scenic Majestic View Park. From there, participants will be taken on a walk through this nature reserve to try to spot and identify any birds of prey they encounter.
The Rocky Mountain Wildlife Alliance will host this educational event at the Majestic View Nature Center. A couple of avian ambassadors may join the seminar to further aid in helping the participants with identifying the raptors.
This event is set to take place on Saturday, December 7 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. With no set age limit, people of all ages are welcomed to preregister for this seminar at a rate of $25 per person. They can register on the Alliance’s website.
