The Salgi Esophageal Cancer Research Foundation will be holding Colorado’s 6th Annual Esophageal Cancer Walk/Run in mid-September.
The event has been organized to encourage prompy detection, fund research, and raise awareness about esophageal cancer.
In-person tickets are $20 until September 14 and will go up to $25 on event day. Children under 13 will get to participate for free. Only Checks and cash will be accepted for payment on race day.
Virtual run tickets cost $20 until Thursday, September 15 and will go up to $25 on September 16th.
T shirts sporting this year’s graphic design will be guaranteed with prepaid in-person tickets until 5:00 pm on August 10.
Those here in Arvada interested in helping the cause may donate by supporting an individual fundraiser or team, fundraise themselves by setting up a custom fundraising page, make an in-kind donation, or become a sponsor.
Sponsorships are available at the Bronze $250, Silver $500, Gold $1.000, and Periwinkle $2.000 levels. All sponsorship levels come with social media, website recognition, and email marketing.
The Silver, Gold, and Periwinkle sponsors may bring tables and chairs to display their Logo Design and pass out Promotional Products and giveaways, such as promotional Pens.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 16, at Mechelen Pavilion, Memorial Park, 8001 W 59th Avenue, beginning at 9:00 am.
