Arvada to host weekend of harvest-themed fun

September is harvest time in Arvada, and residents and visitors alike are invited to take a break from this busy time of year and have some fun at a large local event.

The festivities will start off with music, floats, marchers and more in a parade that will boast more than 100 entries. After this, the crowd is invited to head over to Olde Ton Arvada where there will be a midway with rides, carnival style games, and food. The younger set can burn off some energy in the Kids’ Zone, and the whole family can enjoy everything from a light snack to a full meal at the Food Fair.

Since the focus of the Arvada Harvest Festival is to celebrate the area’s agricultural heritage, a garden harvest contest has been included in the schedule of activities. The public can come out and browse thought the different booths and displays and enjoy spending a late summer weekend with their family and friends. An area printer will be able to supply the organizers of an event like this with a wide range of printing services that can help to ensure a function like this is a success.

The Arvada Harvest Festival is set to open its gates on September 8, and it will run until September 10. Admission is free, and further details can be found on the event’s website.
