Arvada set for musical 2025

Arvada jazz enthusiasts will have four concerts to choose from over the first half of the new year with more to follow.

Summertime in Winter: The Music of Gershwin and more will be an evening of jazz classics performed by Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra's big band featuring Tatiana LadyMay Mayfield. Summertime in Winter: The Music of Gershwin and more will be presented January 25th beginning at 7:30 pm.

Marion Powers will be joining the CJRO for Swingin' Through Time, a musical romp of jazz rhythms over the last century. The performance will be presented March 1st beginning at 7:30 pm.

Tatiana LadyMay Mayfield will be returning to the stage with the orchestra for Funkin' it Up. Song selections will come from the music of Aretha Franklin, Earth, Wind and Fire, and Tower of Power.

Funkin' it Up will be May 17th, beginning at 7:30 pm.

Arts centers like this often give patrons that donate, Totes that have gone to local Print shops to have the center's graphic design imprinted on them.

All these performances will be at the Main Stage Theatre at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, 6901 Wadsworth Boulevard.

The center's outdoor amphitheater will present Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue presently on their Might Not Make it Home Tour. Their music is a conglomeration of funk, R&B, soul, and psychedelic rock. The performance will be June 18th beginning at 7:30 pm.
