The Arvada's Spring Fling Prairie Dog Half will be coming to town in mid-April.
The course will be an out-and-back on a concrete trail with just a little gravel at the turn around.
Individual registration for the event will be $80 for the half marathon, $40 for the 5k, $50 for the 10k and free for the 100-yard Kids' Dash. Discounts will be available if more than one of the three events in the Prairie Dog series is registered at the same time.
Those that finish the half marathon will receive Peedy the Prairie Dog custom finishers medals and all runners will get tech T-Shirts.
Event organizers often go to local Print shops to get professional graphic design help.
Advanced packet pickup will be at Road Runner Westminster, 10442 Town Center Drive, Ste 300, Westminster from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on April 11.
Late pickup and same day registration will begin at 7:00 am, and the Expo will run from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. The Kid's Dash will start at 7:45 am, the Half Marathon will begin at 8:00 am, and the 5k and 10 k will begin at 8:30 am. Awards for the 5k will be at 9:15 am followed by the 10k and overall Half Marathon awards at 9:45 am. Awards for the Half Marathon age groups will start at 10:15 am.
