Arvada On Tap coming soon

Residents of Arvada have an upcoming festival to look forward to.

Arvada On Tap started in 2015 and features microbreweries, barbeque, and fun. This year, there will be homebrewing demonstrations, for those interested in brewing their own beer at home. Likewise, there will also be barbeque techniques shown, and amateur pit masters will be vying for Best in Show, as decided by the festivalgoers.

The festival is intended to raise funds for charitable causes, such as weekend food backpack programs for elementary school students, scholarships for high school students, and roadside cleanup projects. The festival also highlights local homebrewers, microbreweries, amateur barbeque pit masters, artisans, and more.

The entire eventis focused on the local area, including local vendors. The ticket includes entry to the festival, unlimited tastings of beer, and access to vendors of good and food both. There will be live music throughout the festival, and there is a kids’ zone as well.

Made possible by Corporate Gifts from businesses in Arvada, the festival is currently scheduled to take place a week tomorrow, July 21, starting at noon and ending at about 5:00 pm. It will be held in Ralston Park Addition, on 64th and Simms. Pre-sale tickets are available before the event. Guests should note that no outside food or drinks will be allowed, with the exception of water.
