Locals can take the family out to enjoy some Halloween fun this fall in Olde Town Arvada. There will be trick-or-treating, a costume contest, dancing and performances, and a haunted house.
Participating businesses will be handing out candy for the trick-or-treaters while supplies last. There are sure to be many attendees, so arriving early is advised.
The costume contest will be open to all. Pictures will be taken, and contenders will be judged later on social media. This allows attendees to participate at their leisure. To enter, simply stop by Olde Town Square and have your picture taken.
The haunted house will be available for $2 per person, and will be taking over two storefronts at 7401 Grandview Avenue. All proceeds will be donated, although it is not specified to whom the donation will go.
There will also be dancing and performers. Destination Dance will be performing intermittently throughout the evening, and may give free lessons or pointers. The dance floor will also open to the public.
Events such as this often take advantage of banner printing, since a banner would allow them to easily display where the haunted house is, or where the trick-or-treating area begins.
This event is currently scheduled to take place Friday, October 26. Trick-or-treating begins at 5:00 pm, and there is no clear end time for the event.
