Arvada golf tournament reaches 40th anniversary

After waiting a full year, the 40th Annual Apex Foundation Golf Tournament will be in full swing this September.

Admission will be $120 per player or $480 per team, although $20 per player will be deducted from the fee if the tickets are paid for by September 1.

Admission fee includes a two-man cart, a breakfast of burritos and coffee, a golf shirt featuring this year’s tournament Logo Design, a goodie bag, and some time to hit free range balls. Free beverages will be served on the course.

Local businesses that sponsor events such as this often add Business Cards and Promotional Products to event goodie Bags.

Some holes will have special prizes, extra mulligans (free shots), and string and dice games.

Lunch will be provided, at which time guests will receive awards and prizes. Guests can also bid in the silent auction. Most of the items in the auction will be golf-related.

Proceeds from this event will go funding the Apex Park and Recreation District Foundation in its efforts to continue serving quality community recreation.

The tournament will take place at the Indian Tree Golf Course, 7555 Wadsworth Boulevard from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm on Friday, September 10, with check-in starting at 7:00 am. Should it rain, the event will be moved to the following Friday, September 17.
