Bike Friendly Arvada (BFA) will be hosting a special recreational ride this month. The ride will start in the morning and ends at Red Silo Coffee roasters.
The ride will begin at 10:00 AM, and will take approximately two hours. This ride is classified as a recreation ride, which means it will be a longer ride. The recreation rides hosted by BFA are 12-25 miles, and the trial consists of a mixture of street biking and off-road trails. These rides are not recommended for families. There is a route plan available for those who are curious.
Attendees are required to sign a waiver. It is suggested that riders arrive approximately 20 minutes early, as there will be a talk before the ride starts that outlines its specifics. Attendees are required to wear a helmet and obey any traffic laws applicable.
Riders must bring their own bikes in good working order, and a water bottle or camelback is recommended. It is also advised that bikers bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and appropriate clothing. Checking the weather forecast would be helpful for attendees.
