Arvada Center opens exhibition and announces winter schedule

Arvada Center for Arts and Humanities will have an opening reception for its arts and science exhibition, as well as performances over the next couple of months.

The Opening Reception for the Art + Science exhibition in the Main Gallery will take place Thursday, January 19 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Although the Main Gallery exhibition and reception will be free, both require RSVPs. Tickets for the exhibition are distributed in one-hour slots beginning 1:00 pm and ending 4:00 pm.

The exhibition, which runs until March 26, will be composed of works from 14 contemporary regional artists using research, datasets, scientific concepts, and development. Artists Talks are scheduled for Thursday, February 16 at 6:00 pm and Sunday, March 12 at 1:00 pm. Tickets will be free, but RSVP will be required.

Main Stage will present “Charlotte’s Web” from January 24 to March 3, 2022-23 ED FRY’s “Winter Concert Winter Musings” with both in-person and live stream options on February 6 at 7:00 pm, and Coffee Concerts Series with Jeffery Siegel’s “Love Inspired Music of Schumann” on February 15 at 11:00 am, followed by “Musical Valentines” featuring Liszt, Mendelssohn, Grieg, and Chopin at 7:30 pm that evening.

“Our Town” will play from February 22 to May 21, “The Book Club Play” runs from March 15 to May 18, and “Damn Yankees” is from April 5 through May 7.
