The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities will have a selection of events for June.
The Main Stage Theater will be presenting 3rd Law Dance/Theater at 7:30 pm on Saturday, June 1. The 3rd Law Dance/Theater, a modern dance company, is known for its innovative collaboration, live music, and physicality. The performance will offer visual art, digital media, music, and a fusion of dance and theater. Tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations like this are funded by individuals and Corporate Gifts.
For a little change of pace, the Center's outdoor amphitheater will have a Rock and Roll evening performed by the Spin Doctors, with Cracker as support, on June 21. The Spin Doctors are perhaps best known for their song “Two Princes,” which was a hit in 1992.
Guests will be treated to a wild Cuban mambo night with Orquesta Akokán, with New Orleans piano great and guitarist Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen performing on June 23.
Denver Brass with its "Brass! Camera! Action!” performance will end the month’s concerts on June 29. Denver Brass will perform an evening of film scores from modern animated movies back to Hollywood classics.
The doors and plaza concessions will open at 6:00 pm, seating in the amphitheater will begin at 6:30 pm with the performance beginning at 7:30 pm. The Center is located at 6901 Wadsworth Boulevard.
