This fall, once again 16 Arvada artists are opening their art spaces to the public for their 20th Art Studio Tour.
Some art stops on the interactive website are Jim Koch at 16916 W 85th Lane, Judi Mitchell and Kay Palmer at Apex at 11706 W 82nd Ave, Ken and Sandy Hare at 8286 Depew Way, and Jan Archuleta 7148 Orchard Street. Other participants will include Mickey La Fave at 11957 W 71st Drive, Stephanie Kuhne at 8800 W 73rd Place, and Paula Weisz at 1937 W 60th Circle.
Jane Banzhaf will be displaying her work at 5350 Sandra Way, Judy Gardner at 6585 W 62nd Place, and Mariposa Marangia at 7073 Cody Drive. Other artists opening their studios to the public will include photographer Fred Reim at 6585 W. 62nd Place, Aart Rietweld and his oil paintings at 6485 Balsam Street, Manic Sorcar and his painted tile, flagstone, and other works will be at 14565 W. 58th Place.
Artists often take their work to local Stationery printers to be made into a graphic design for gift items and note cards. Items like these and original artwork will be sold at the artists’ studios during the two-day event.
The studios will be open Saturday, September 18 and 19 from noon until 5:00 pm and admission will be free.
