Amplify, a live performance and live-stream broadcasts series at the Arvada Center, will present a program of Native Indian traditions and arts connected to the Western region, especially Colorado.
The Denver American Festival event will be curated by Lynne Holman and Carrie Howell. Reserved in-person tickets must be purchased online and are $5 each. Guests will be physically distanced. Assigned seating will take place when guests enter the building.
Live-streamed tickets are also available to those having accounts with the Center. A link for the event will be e-mailed a couple of hours before the performance to the address used at the time the tickets are purchased.
Amplify is an Arvada Center video and live event series featuring dance, performances, and spoken word programs, all providing an outlet for marginalized artists. Performers on this program will be Seven Falls Indian Dancers, which is a family ensemble of four generations of dancers, Flutist Eric “Many Winds” Herrera will be there, as will writer, author, storyteller, and musician Red Feather Woman.
Proceeds from this event will go to supporting the Arvada Center of the Arts and Humanities. Many local businesses support art centers like this through Corporate Gifts.
